We are living in fascinating times!

On the one hand mankind is advancing rapidly in the fields of science and technology. The rapid advancement of computers has revolutionized just about every aspect of human life. Medicine, manufacturing even personal communication are highly dependent on computers and now the internet. Even the fields of computers is advancing rapidly with the likelihood that Quantum Computers will make the current computer look like a dinosaur.

On the other hand we are witnessing some of the greatest greed in mankind’s history. From the bailouts of corporations with taxpayer money to the mess created by BP in the Gulf of Mexico to the unheard of pension and health benefits of government employees it is obvious that people are no longer concerned about others and are willing to take as many assets and property of others for their own benefit. The current crop of politicians, both Democrats and Republicans, are nothing more than henchmen for the corporate elite of the world. The idea that politicians serve “the People” died many decades ago! The mantra “go to school, get a good education, find a good job and retire at 65″ have enslaved the civilized world and created sheep out of the people. In a few decades we’ve gone from one job to support the family, to two, and now to three between “Mom and Dad” and with the current financial crisis brought on by the greed of the “financial elite” of the world many families are now broke while their wealth was transferred to the same “elite” that created the crisis. Welcome to the new world!
